Heavy Rain Could Lead to More Flooding

Here we go again. More rain and storms are hitting the Piedmont. The areas that saw heavy rain Monday, saw more heavy rain early evening. Now, the rain is shifting farther south and farther east. 

Heavy rain starting hitting much of the area during the late afternoon and early evening, and this will spread out to a larger area toward the late evening and overnight hours.

1-2" or more are possible in some areas overnight. Isolated 2"+ totals can't be ruled out. That amount of rain may lead to localized flash flooding.
