GREENSBORO, NC --- After a weekend of scattered showers and storms, a drier weather pattern is in store as we head through the work week.

A cold front will clear the area Monday, leading to one last chance of a couple of storms ahead of drier weather. The rain coverage isn't expected to be as widespread as it was Sunday.

Tuesday high pressure will build in, leading to a decent amount of sunshine and only a small chance of a stray afternoon storm. Thanks to the ample sunshine, highs Tuesday will return into the upper 80s to low 90s.

We'll see more of the same Wednesday and Thursday: mostly sunny skies with highs in the low 90s. Once you factor in the humidity, it'll feel like it's warmer than 95° at times.

By Friday, the weather will become a little more unsettled leading to a few showers and storms mainly during the afternoon and early evening hours.
