GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for several counties in the Triad.  

WFMY News 2's weather team has you covered on all things weather as scattered thunderstorms pass through the Triad Tuesday.

During the storm, a lightning strike set a home on fire causing it to be engulfed in flames on Pheasant Lane in Winston-Salem.
