After a dry weekend, typical summer weather will build into the Piedmont this week. Heat, humidity, and rain chances will be a way of life for us this week.
As the humidity works in tandem with the heat Monday, a few showers and storms will pop up during the afternoon hours.
Moisture in the atmosphere will increase even more Tuesday through Thursday, leading to a greater coverage of afternoon & early evening showers and storms.
We're not expecting any total all-day washouts this week, but rain chances will remain elevated through Thursday, before drier weather moves in for the upcoming weekend.
