Six storms have already formed in 2020, but thankfully no hurricanes.

The pace of this hurricane season is record-setting. This is the earliest in a year that a sixth tropical system has formed. However, all of the storms this year have stayed rather weak up until this point. No hurricanes have formed yet in 2020 in the Atlantic basin.
