Guilford County, along with the rest of the state, has reported some of its highest numbers from the entire pandemic recently.

The latest county report included a 29.2% positivity rate and 270 people in the hospital. 253 of those patients are being treated at Cone Health.

The Guilford County Board of Health voted to reinstate the countywide mask mandate Thursday. That order will remain in effect until Feb. 27 unless the board makes a change beforehand.
