Support Dudley High School's Marching Band of Thunder

The Dudley High School Marching Band of Thunder is raising money for the school's music programs.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- You can see some of the Triad's best high school bands perform in Greensboro Saturday afternoon and it's all for a good cause.

The Dudley High School Marching Band of Thunder is raising money for the school's music programs. The band is hosting 13 high school bands from the Triad, across North Carolina and Virginia Saturday afternoon in one of the area's largest competitions and exhibition showcases.

Band director Christopher Hayes says all the top high school talent will be there, plus you can expect to see the award-winning North Carolina A&T State University Blue & Gold Marching Machine in an exhibition performance.

Pine Forest High School - Fayetteville, NC

West Charlotte High School - Charlotte, NC

North Brunswick High School - Leland, NC

Eastern Wayne High School - Goldsboro, NC

Northeast Guilford High School - Greensboro, NC

Halifax County High School - South Boston, VA

Garinger High School - Charlotte, NC

Kinston High School - Kinston, NC

E.E. Smith High School - Fayetteville, NC

Southern High School - Durham, NC

T.W. Andrews High School - High Point, NC

Carver High School - Winston-Salem, NC

Parkland High School - Winston-Salem, NC

James B. Dudley High School - Greensboro, NC (Exhibition)

North Carolina A&T State University - Greensboro, NC (Exhibition)

The James B. Dudley High School Band Classic is Saturday, October 14, 2017 in the school's gymnasium. The competition starts at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door and all money raised goes right back into the school's music program fund.
