Medical Examiner's Report: Gate Not Locked In Deadly Lion Attack
According to the report, a deputy with the Caswell County Sheriff's Office told the medical examiner that he was advised a play ball was blocking a gate, which caused it to not close properly and that's when the lion got out, but an attorney for the conservators center says that's not the case.
