1. SLAM DUNK!

You never know what to expect with the Harlem Globetrotters! Catch the team in action this weekend in the Triad. It’s a hoops show the entire family will enjoy! The Harlem Globetrotters have performed in 122 countries and territories on six continents. The Globetrotters will perform Friday, March 23 at the LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem at 7:00 p.m. then again on Sunday, March 25 at the Greensboro Coliseum at 3:00 p.m. Tickets start at $15.

2. MAKE IT HOME!

The Southern Ideal Home Show is the Triad’s premier home and garden event! Check out landscaped gardens, building and home improvement projects, green living, kitchen & bath, interior décor, outdoor living, taste, travel and more! The show also features celebrity appearances from the Fabulous Beekman Boys and Lori Hawkins, Landscape Architect. The Southern Ideal Home Show takes places March 23-25 at the Greensboro Coliseum.

3. FOOD TRUCKS!

Three words – 1. Food 2. Truck 3. Fest! Go taste it all at the first Food Truck Rodeo in High Point. The event features 18 food truck from all over NC, live music, balloon animals, crafts, face painting and more! The Food Truck Rodeo takes place Sunday, March 25 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Mendenhall Transportation Terminal located at 220 East Commerce Avenue in High Point.

4. CANDY LAND!

What’s not to love about Candy Land? This weekend make sure the kids have their Easter baskets. Candy Land will take place at the Glenwood Recreation Center and includes a free egg hunt, face painting, bounce houses, games, concessions, ECO bus and more. There will also be an “Egg-streme” obstacle course-style hunt for kids 11 and older. The event takes place Saturday, March 24 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 2010 Coliseum Boulevard in Greensboro.

Egg Hunt Times:

10:30 a.m. – ages 4 and under

11:00 a.m. – ages 5-6

11:30 a.m. – adaptive

11:45 a.m. – ages 7-8

12:30 p.m. – ages 9-10 and adaptive

10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – ages 11 and up

5. DOGS ON THE CATWALK

The dogs are taking over the catwalk this weekend and it's all for a good cause. The 10th annual pet fashion show and fundraising event supports Red Dog Farm Animal Rescue Network. The event features adopted animals as well as animals looking for forever families. It includes a Pet fashion, silent auction, food, beer and wine. The event takes place Saturday, March 24 at Triad Stage located at 232 South Elm Street in Greensboro. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets start at $50.
