You May Want To 'Snooze' A Few Of Your Facebook Friends

Their team just one. Their political candidate is trending. They just had a baby and are posting pictures every hour on the hour. Here's how you can "snooze" their posts for the next 30 days.

Whether it's baby pictures, political posts or your Facebook friend talking smack about their team's March Madness win over yours, sometimes it can be too much.

So, Facebook is making to easier to hide those posts for just a short time. The website 'Lifewire' recently look at Facebook's 'snoozing' feature.

Here's how it works. When you see a post in your feed from a friend who you want to hide for a bit, not unfriend but take a mini vacation from, click or tap the three dots in the top right corner of the post. In the menu that opens, click or tap the option that says Snooze for 30 days.

You can do the same for a page that you follow. The best part, Facebook won't alert your friend that you 'Snoozed' them. And if you change your mind you can always go back and undo it.

Snoozing just temporarily hides the posts, but if you want a more permanent option, you can also unfollow. You'll find that option in the same dropdown menu. Facebook also won't alert your friend that you unfollowed them.
