Greensboro Daycare Open To Storm Damage Victims

The childcare center serves more than a dozen schools normally, but on Tuesday, they say anyone who needs free daycare services should come by and sign up.

GREENSBORO, N.C. - After a tornado ripped through parts of the city, knocking down trees and damaging schools and homes, one couple decided to open their daycare facility for free to anyone impacted by the storm.

George and Michelle Karagiannakis own Drop-N-Play, which has two locations - one in Greensboro, another in Summerfield. The childcare center serves more than a dozen schools normally, but on Tuesday, they say anyone who needs free daycare services should come by a location, or go online, and fill out a form. "We're here to come in and step in for anybody that needs us," said Michelle, "With the storms - we're looking to provide services for anyone for free - for anyone impacted by this storm."
