DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. -- A Davidson County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officer charged a Churchland Elementary School student with assault on a government official (teacher) after the student assaulted their teacher by hitting him in the stomach with his fist and shoving him.
The incident happened in the morning on November 17, 2017 at Churchland Elementary School.
The student was charged on a juvenile petition to be filed with juvenile services.
