Chilly Weather for Thanksgiving Day In The Piedmont

Temperatures will remain below average this week in the Piedmont.

GREENSBORO, N.C. --- We're in for a fairly quiet and cool stretch of days this week, just in time for Thanksgiving. The week will start off on a chilly note, with morning lows early Monday in the 20s and low 30s. Highs Monday afternoon will bounce back into the mid 50s in many places.

Temperatures will moderate a bit as we head into Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs both days will likely reach he mid to upper 50s. We'll cool off again on Thanksgiving with highs only in the 40s and low 50s for most.

We'll have to keep an eye on a few areas of low pressure that'll track along the coast during this time frame. Right now, it looks like the rain chances will stay mainly to our east, but if the systems track a little closer than expected, we can't rule out a few showers here or there from time to time on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thanksgiving Day. We'll keep you updated.
