UNC School of the Arts alum wins Grammy Award

The 66th annual Grammy Awards were announced Sunday, Feb. 4.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — You can call Mary-Mitchell Campbell a Grammy Award winner! 

Campbell is an alumna of the School of Music at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), and she won a Grammy Award Sunday night. 

She won the award as part of the creative team that won in the best musical theater album category. She won her first Grammy for her role as a producer on "Some Like It Hot."

Campbell was also the music supervisor for the production. She received an honorary doctorate from UNCSA when she returned to speak at commencement in 2019. 

Congratulations to Mary-Mitchell Campbell on this wonderful achievement!
