GREENSBORO, N.C. — It's never boring in Greensboro!

On Tuesday, May 7, two miniature horses were spotted galloping in a Greensboro neighborhood!

Three people on the City of Greensboro's surveying team, Kyle Chrismon, Mike McMasters, and Brent Young, really had to hoof it when they saw the horses running around Vandalia Rd. and Vandalia Elementary School.

Luckily, they were able to alert the owner and help her get ahold of her horses!

"Kudos to Kyle, Mike, and Brent for horsing around," wrote the city in a Facebook post.

We sure are glad the horses are back safe and sound!

City Survey Crew Corrals Loose Mini Horses
If you work on one of the City’s surveying crews, you can count on spending a good part of the day outside and working in different parts of the city. But you can’t count on always finding two miniature horses running through a neighborhood. While tracking down loose livestock isn’t in their job description, Kyle Chrismon, Mike McMasters, and Brent Young knew they needed to act when they saw the horses running free around Vandalia Rd. and Vandalia Elementary School. The trio alerted the horses’ owner and helped her apprehend the escaped equines. So kudos to Kyle, Mike, and Brent for horsing around. Thanks to their quick thinking (and courage!), they helped a resident and her horses, while keeping the steeds off a well-traveled roadway.
