Cabbage Recipe

1 Medium Cabbage 

1 Quart Water

1/2 Cup Canola Oil

2 Tablespoons Sugar

1 Teaspoon Salt

Bring water to a boil,  cut cabbage into ribbons (1/4 inch thick)add cabbage and seasoning , steam until tender.

Lemon Sauce (for Sidwills Bread pudding) 

6 Eggs 

4 cups sugar

1 stick of butter ( cut into small pieces)

3/4 cup water

3/4 cup lemon juice 

Mix all ingredients in stainless pan over heat until thicken
