GREENSBORO, N.C. — For most people, when they're off the clock work never enters their mind.
But not Guilford County EMT Elle Green.
Green was having lunch with her daughter in a restaurant in Greensboro during her time off last week.
Suddenly, an older woman across the room started having trouble breathing.
Green sprang into action and performed the Heimlich maneuver several times saving the woman's life.
Guilford County EMS said Green has only been a part of their team since August but this moment shows she has what it takes to go above and beyond for those in need.
