Santa Visits Winston-Salem Children Who Are Blind

Industries for the Blind helped set up the hangout with Santa. The kids got to feel his fuzzy suit and know it was him.

Santa Claus will have his hands full next week, but today, he stopped to visit visually impaired students in Winston-Salem.

Industries for the Blind helped set up the hangout with students in the Student Enrichment Experience program.

Santa didn't come empty handed!

He gave out gifts during his visit.

"I think they're very happy with him coming and they get to rub his sleeve and know that his uniform - or his suit - is fuzzy and hear his HO HO HO helps them have a Merry Christmas," said Youth Program Coordinator Kim Flanagan.

Students also told Santa their last minute gift ideas, and even sang songs with him.
