Boston Police Officers Share Their Remarkable Vocals In Rendition Of 'God Bless America'

BOSTON, MA -- One thing's definitely for sure, being a cop can be a very stressful occupation. One in which could also lead to serious injury or even death.

That’s why every chance they get, Boston officers Kim Tavares and Stephen McNulty, show off their phenomenal vocals!

“You need something that levels that stress out….and you know, music….it just makes you happy said Kim to our CBS affiliate WBZ.

Recently, the duo who usually sung individually, sung together for the first time in an acapella version of ‘God Bless America,’ that has since gone viral! Talk about an awesome Independence Day gift.

While a lot of officers are opting into the huge cop lip-sync battle, for Kim and Stephen there's no need.

Simply because, It would rob us all of the gift of hearing their beautiful voices.
