HIGH POINT, N.C. — Dental Pros are offering free help for people who need a checkup.
At High Point University's Workman School of Dental Medicine, school officials are dedicating the event in memory of Dr. Sanford "Sandy" Cates.
Dr. Sandy died in 2023. He served as the school's first-ever faculty member.
Tuesday's event is providing free dental care for adults who can't afford important preventative dental care. School faculty members are giving free oral exams and providing same-day care.
HPU said they have a booked day for appointments, but you can still try calling High Point Health - Randleman Dental at 336-498-3727 to see if they can squeeze you in for a cleaning.
