18-year-old charged with murder in W. Friendly Ave. stabbing in Greensboro

Police said the woman is charged with first degree murder.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: Police said Chaynei Amyah Schuett, 18, was taken into custody Saturday by the Violent Crime Reduction Team (VCRT) in connection to the stabbing. She was arrested, taken to Guilford County Jail, and served with a warrant for first-degree murder. She is being held without bond. Police said she and the victim knew each other. The investigation is ongoing.

Police said a person is dead after they responded to a shooting call in Greensboro Saturday.

Greensboro police said they responded to the 5000 block of  West Friendly Avenue and found Ebrahem Osman Ebrahem, 21, unresponsive shortly before 3 a.m.

Life-saving efforts were made and  Ebrahem was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Greensboro police confirmed the incident was a stabbing.

The investigation is ongoing.
