Suspect wanted for first-degree arson in Burlington, police say

Burlington police said they are searching for Jose Oscar Santiago-Dimas, who is accused of setting two mobile homes on fire on Maple Avenue.

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. — Burlington police are searching for a man accused of setting two mobile homes on fire.

The Burlington Police Department said around 12:30 p.m. on May 3, two mobile homes on the 2000 block of  Maple Avenue were set on fire, and no injuries were reported.

Investigators said that due to the suspicious nature of the fire, they launched an investigation and identified 45-year-old Jose Oscar Santiago-Dimas as the suspect. They said he's a resident of one of the homes. 

Police said Santiago-Dimas is wanted for two counts of first-degree arson and one count of burning personal property.
