ASHEBORO, N.C. — Randolph County Sheriff's Office arrested a man on several heroin trafficking charges.
The sheriff's office says deputies searched William Dale Dunn's home in Asheboro on Friday. They found 7.5 grams of heroin, a small amount of marijuana and suboxone, drug paraphernalia and more than $2,700 in cash.
Investigators say prior to the search, Dunn sold heroin several times to undercover detectives.
Dunn is in the Randolph County Jail under a $1,000,000 secured bond.
His charges include the following:
- Felony Trafficking in Heroin
- Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Heroin
- Felony Possession Heroin
- Felony Maintaining a Dwelling Place for Controlled Substance
- Possession Marijuana Up to ½ oz.
- Possession Marijuana Paraphernalia
- Possession Drug Paraphernalia
- Misdemeanor Child Abuse
