EDEN, N.C. — Eden Police arrested a daycare worker accused of abusing a 4-year-old boy on Thursday.
Police say Michelle Sedwick, 38, faces one count of misdemeanor assault on a child and one count of misdemeanor child abuse.
Earlier this week, police received a report about a child being assaulted by an employee at Trinity Wesleyan Daycare.
Police say the boy suffered minor injuries which did not require medical attention.
Sedwick was taken to Rockingham County Jail where she received a $5,000 secured bond.
Police say the daycare staff is cooperating with the investigation.
