LEWISVILLE, N.C. — A Lewisville husband and wife were accused of sex crimes with a child after an investigation Thursday, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office (FCSO).
Forsyth County deputies said they were investigating a case where an 11-year-old victim reported multiple incidents that happened over the course of a year.
During an investigation, investigators said a second victim reported that the couple gave them pornographic material once in 2023 when they were 15 years old.
Detectives said an investigation led them to charge 57-year-old Eugene Barry with five counts of indecent liberties with a child.
Deputies said his wife, 36-year-old Samantha Barry, was charged with five counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of disseminating harmful material to minors.
Both were each given a $50,000 bond, which has been posted.
Deputies said both are scheduled to appear in court on Friday, May 24, 2024.
