LEXINGTON, N.C. — A Lexington man was arrested for several counts of sex crimes against children, according to the Lexington Police Department.
On Jan. 26, police said they received a tip regarding Lucas Mallard, 38, having possession of child sex abuse material.
Detectives found physical evidence of Mallard having that material throughout the investigation.
Mallard was arrested on April 12 on ten counts of felony third degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Mallard was given a $5,000 unsecured bond.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the Lexington Police Department.
