Man, woman found shot to death in car, suspects in custody, Winston-Salem police say

Police said they responded to the 300 block of Barnes Road after a report of gunshots and a car crashing into several parked vehicles around 2:18 a.m.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Four people, including three juveniles, are facing charges after a man and woman were found shot to death in a car in Winston-Salem Saturday.

Winston-Salem police said they responded to the 300 block of Barnes Road after a report of gunshots and a car crashing into several parked vehicles around 2:18 a.m.

Officers found Jahir Jimenez-Laredo, 20, and Mitzi Saldana-Clemente, 21, dead with gunshot wounds in a car.

Winston-Salem police's Criminal Investigations Division responded and took over the investigation.

Investigators found Ryan Anguiano Prudente, 18, and two juveniles walking on US-52 around 5:30 a.m. and another juvenile was found hiding nearby.

Police said evidence obtained linked the four to the murder of Jimenez-Laredo and Saldana-Clemente.

Prudente is charged with two counts of General Murder.

The three juveniles have also been taken into custody and charged with two counts of General Murder.

Prudente is in custody at the Forsyth County Detention Center. He is being held with no bond allowed.

He is set to appear in court on Dec. 11.

The investigation is ongoing.
