MONETA, Va.-- A reporter, Allison Parker and Photographer, Adam Ward were killed Wednesday morning after gunshots rang out during a local television crew's interview at Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, Va.

Virginia authorities say the suspected shooter Vester Flanagan, a former co-worker of the two WDBJ7 employees killed, died at a nearby hospital after he shot himself. Officials say they do not know a motive.

The third victim in the fatal shooting during a live TV news broadcast in Virginia is in stable condition.

Chris Turnbull, spokesman for Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, gave the condition of Vicki Gardner at a news conference Wednesday, several hours after the shooting.

The station's President and General Manager Jeff Marks talked about the incident on live television to confirm information about the deaths. He also talked about what the crew meant to the station.
