Gene Simmons Is Guest Voice On "Spongebob Squarepants."

Simmons said he was born to play this part.

Undated -- When "Spongebob Squarepants" creators need someone to give life to an angry sea beast, they immediately call Gene Simmons. Simmons and longtime partner Shannon Tweed are guest voices on an upcoming episode of "Spongebob." Gene Simmons says on his Web site they voiced their parts this week for an episode called "20,000 Patties Under the Sea." Simmons plays the part of a sea monster, who Spongebob and Patrick feed Krabby Patties to to keep him from getting angry. Tweed plays the sea monster's mother. Here's what Simmons had to say about the experience: "I was born for this part. I've been waiting all my life to be a sea monster. It's in my blood. It's what I do. It's my job. Spongebob is jealous, as well he should be. I was brilliant." The episode will air sometime next year.
