WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Two people are in the hospital after being hit by a pickup truck at a Winston-Salem crosswalk on Monday afternoon.
Police say the accident happened around 4 p.m. at North Patterson Avenue and East 6th Street.
Police say Ms. Karen Logan and Mr. Aaron Logan were crossing the street when the driver of a Toyota pickup turned into the intersection and hit both of them.
Mr. and Ms. Logan are being treated for serious injuries.
Police say charges are pending for the driver.
