Whether by plane, train or automobile… doesn’t matter HOW we get there, we all just need to get away.
But how far away do you need to be to feel like you’re on vacation? The Independent surveyed 2,000 British workers and here's what they found:
Almost half of the people said they had a hard time switching from work mode to vacation mode.
1 in five said they were most likely to answer calls or emails from the office if they stayed close to home.
31% said they got into arguments with their kids or partner when they worked on vacation.
So, how far away did people need to be to really feel like they’re on vacation? A thousand miles!
