GREENSBORO, N.C. – A two-year-old has died after drowning in a family pool.
The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office said the toddler boy was discovered Thursday afternoon in a pool on Plaza Drive.
Emergency workers began resuscitation efforts immediately after arrival. The child was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation but at this time says it appears to be an accidental death.
