GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are asking for the public’s help investigating a single-vehicle crash on Thursday, April 25, on Interstate 840 between Burlington Road and I-40/I-85.

Investigators are seeking dash camera video or pictures of two cars observed speeding from the Graham/Burlington area toward Greensboro on I-40 westbound between 9-10 a.m. that day.

One car is described as an older model black Pontiac Grand Prix, and the other is a red/burgundy newer model sedan, possibly a Honda with dark-tinted windows.

The vehicles were speeding and being operated carelessly and recklessly.

Officers said the black Pontiac was involved in a crash on I-840 around 10:30 a.m., resulting in serious injuries. The red/burgundy car left the scene.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the two described vehicles that morning to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 336-373-1000.
