HIGH POINT, N.C. — NCDOT says there is no loose concrete remaining on the Business 85 overpass at South Main Street or structural damage.
High Point 911 says NCDOT crews responded to the bridge after reports of falling concrete this morning.
NCDOT says it appears an overheight vehicle hit the steel girders under the bridge, breaking some concrete loose from the overhang.
NCDOT says the road has been cleared of debris and there is no structural damage to the beam.
