Power restored in Greensboro on Christmas Day

Maybe the Grinch had something to do with it?

GREENSBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: All power outages were resolved.

The Grinch usually steals Christmas, but this year he just stole the power.

Over 6,000 people in Greensboro are without power on Christmas Day, according to Duke Energy.

The outages were caused by an object coming into contact with power lines.

The outages began around 1 p.m. and are expected to be cleared by 4 p.m., Duke said.

Hopefully, the Grinch's heart will grow three sizes and turn those Christmas lights back on.
