Two people injured in I-840 crash in Greensboro, police actively investigating

Greensboro police said one person was suffering life-threatening injuries after the crash Thursday.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two people are injured after a crash on I-840 Thursday morning, according to Greensboro police. 

Greensboro police, fire crews and Guilford County EMS all responded to the single car crash around 10:30 a.m. on I-840 between Burlington Road and I-40/I-85. 

One person was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Another person was also taken to the hospital for injuries that weren't life-threatening. 

Officers said they are actively investigating what may have caused the crash.
