EDEN, N.C. — A pharmacy in Eden will soon be closing after serving the community for 55 years.
Mitchell's Discount Drug store announced it would be closing its doors in a social media post:
With mixed emotions and much prayer, we have to announce we will be closing after 55 years of serving Rockingham County. We would love to thank you for the support Mitchell’s Drug has received over the years of serving the community. We will cherish all the wonderful memories that will forever be in our heart. May God bless you all.
The store's last day of business will be Wednesday, May 15.
