Gastonia, N.C. -- The wrestling coach at East Gaston High School is in jail facing multiple felony sex charges.
Authorities say 44-year-old Gary Scott Goins was arrested at his home Wednesday. He is charged with 14 counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of statutory rape of a minor, age 6 or older.
Goins is free on $100,000 bond. It's not known if he has an attorney.
The sheriff's office said the alleged offenses occurred between May 1999 and June 2004.
Capt. Jay Human with the Gaston County Police Department said a former student came forward with accusations in February. Human said as investigators checked into the allegations, a second person came forward.
Goins, who's coached wrestling at the school for 10 years, is suspended with pay pending an investigation.
