Power restored in a Greensboro neighborhood that left hundreds of people in the dark

Hundreds of people were without power in Greensboro near Lake Jeanette Road and Lawndale Drive, according to Duke Energy's website.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Hundreds of people were without power in Greensboro Friday, according to Duke Energy's website.

It appears the outage was along the Lake Jeanette Road area near Lawndale Drive. 

The cause of the outage is not known at this time, but power has since been restored.
