New Look For Duke Energy Unveiled

The Energy giant has unveiled a new logo which was developed internally to represent the companies new identity after the merger with progress Energy in July of 2012.

Charlotte, NC-- Charlotte based Duke Energy will have a new look come Monday.

The Energy giant has unveiled a new logo which was developed internally to represent the companies new identity after the merger with progress Energy in July of 2012.

The logo will begin rolling out on Monday March 25th and will be seen on Company signs, vehicles and other locations.

The symbol has already been placed on the Uptown building at 526 South Church Street.

Ginny Mackin, Duke Energy vice president and chief communications officer said, "we'll have one logo to symbolize one unified company-representing the largest electric utility in the nation."

With almost 28,000 employees, Duke Energy's regulated utilities operate in six states and serve 7.2 million customers.
