North Carolina's congressional District 13, which includes, the southeastern part of Guilford County, Davie County, Davidson County, Rowan County and Iredell County, is one to watch on Election Day.
Incumbent Rep. Ted Budd (R) and his Democratic opponent Kathy Manning are out with one last push to get people to the polls.
Donald Trump, Jr., campaigned for Rep. Budd in Lexington Monday morning. His father, President Donald Trump, has been hitting the trail, too, rallying for Republican votes across the nation. If Kathy Manning wins the District 13 race, the political tides in Congress could change, putting Democrats in control.
Representative Budd says his actions should speak for themselves on why he should stay in office.
His opponent Kathy Manning has been meeting people and getting the word out in person.
She was door-knocking over the weekend and even had support from Governor Roy Cooper. She kept pounding the pavement Monday in Greensboro. She says she's ready to work across the aisle on the issues she thinks are most important to this district.
