'Whisker Round-Up' fundraising event returns for another year

Juliet's House Animal Rescue is hosting the highly anticipated event on March 3, 2024.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Do you have an undying love for animals? There's an event that calls for your passion. 

Juliet's House Animal Rescue is hosting its second annual Whisker Round-Up fundraiser eventin an effort to save more homeless animals in the Triad. 

Event details:

Location: Pig Pounder Brewery (1107 Grecade St, Greensboro, NC 27408)

Date: March 3, 2024

Time: 1 - 5 p.m.

In the past 8 years, Juliet's House has saved over 7,000 homeless animals in the Triad. Whisker Round-Up serves as a vital fundraising initiative to continue these efforts.  

Juliet's House Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of young, sick, and injured homeless animals. 

With the generous support of the community, Juliet's House has been able to make a significant impact in the lives of countless animals, providing them with a second chance at happiness and a loving forever home. 

This year's Whisker Round-Up will feature an impressive array of over 95 silent auction items, offering attendees the opportunity to bid on an assortment of unique and valuable items generously donated by local businesses and individuals. 

From exclusive vacations, spa packages, and guitar lessons to art and so much more! There will be something for everyone to bid on and enjoy. 

In addition to the silent auction, the event will also include a 50/50 raffle, a four-legged fashion boutique, and an animal cuddle station. 

Live music will be provided by locally known artist and animal enthusiast, Susanna Macfarlane. Guests can enjoy the event along with local brews and food trucks set up in the parking lot. WFMY News 2's Ben Briscoe and Ed Matthews will serve as the emcees of the event. There is a suggested five-dollar entry fee.
