Hungry pups: Randolph County Animal Services in need of dry dog food donations

Donations can be made to the shelter Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Triad animal shelters always need help getting homeless pets adopted into their forever families.

Randolph County Animal Services is dealing with an additional problem - feeding their pups. The shelter posted on Facebook in January that they are in urgent need of dry dog food.

The Randolph County Sheriff's Office shared an update on Friday, saying they talked to the shelter staff this week, and they are still in need of dog food.

"They have lots of hungry pups and are in urgent need of dry dog food. Any donations of dry dog food would be greatly appreciated and accepted at RCAS," the sheriff's office wrote in the post.

Donations can be made to the shelter Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are closed on the first and third Wednesday of every month.

The shelter prefers dog food that does NOT have red dye in it. They said they'll take what they can get but some brands they like are Pedigree, Purina, and Wag.

Randolph County Animal Services is located at 1370 County Land Road
Randleman, NC 27317. Their phone number is 336-683-8235
