Power restored in Greensboro

Police said power has been restored.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Update: Greensboro police said power has been restored.

Many are without power in Greensboro Sunday.

Greensboro police said the outage is within the areas of Spring Garden Street, West Gate City Boulevard, and South Holden Road.

Police said traffic signals have also been affected and Duke Power has been notified of the outage and are on the scene.

According to the Duke Energy map 4,000 people are without power.

Drivers are asked to use an alternate route.
