We're continuing with our Summer Loving Series. This morning, we'll talking about kissing and the meanings behind different kinds of kisses. Before lips touch, you can tell how your partner is feeling. You get a sense of how your partner is feeling before you kiss through what I call the kiss set-up. This means through body position, head orientation, touch, look into each other's eyes.
You might be wondering if you can kiss the wrong way. It can be wrong if you and your partner want or expect different kinds of kisses such as if you want a quick sweep of lips and they want a deeper kiss. It's more the impact of a distracted or obligatory kiss that destroys the intimacy. Distraction can chip away at the intimacy that connects you two. Think about kisses where your lips barely touch or your kiss lands on the side of their mouth. Your lips should touch for a couple of seconds to make an impact.
