CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — UNC men's basketball lands another piece out of the transfer portal, former Vanderbilt University forward Ven-Allen Lubin.

The 6'8 sophomore averaged 12.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game during the 2023-2024 season for the Commodores.

Lubin announced on his social media that he will play for Head Coach Hubert Davis, just one week after taking an official visit to Chapel Hill.

The forward's career began at Notre Dame where he averaged 6.2 points per game and 4.3 rebounds for the Irish.

Lubin is the second transfer portal commit for the Tar Heels this offseason. Cade Tyson, a sophomore guard out of Belmont, committed to UNC on April 28
