GREENSBORO, N.C. — The cat's out of the bag!

On March 20, two serval kittens were born!

Mom (Kira), and dad (Tut) are the proud parents of the first serval kittens born at the Greensboro Science Center.

Unfortunately for everyone, they are not yet visible to the public. But, fear not. The Greensboro Science Center will update everyone on their social media.

Servals are small cats native to central and southern Africa. They have the longest legs and largest ears for it's body size of any cat!

These kittens will grow up to be carnivores, with a diet mostly consisting of rodents. However, according to GSC, they'll be able to jump more than nine feet into the air to grab a bird!

Just look at these faces!

"Our Revolution Ridge zoo expansion is working exactly as planned. Most of these new species are breeding and/or showing signs of future breeding as our guests get to see the miracle of life firsthand. Species conservation starts with knowledge and caring. Getting to know these incredible animals up-close and personal translates into wanting to protect them in the wild," said Glenn Dobrogosz, the GSC CEO.
