GREENSBORO, N.C. — One person is dead after a crash on Freeman Mill Road Thursday morning, Greensboro police said.
Officers responded to the intersection near Garrett Street just after 2 a.m. where they found a car hit by a Dunkin' Donuts tractor-trailer.
The Dunkin' Donuts truck was traveling north on Freeman Mill Road when another car driven by Miquel Gomez-Flores, 21, was entering the intersection.
Gomez-Flores entered the intersection with a flashing red light for his direction of travel when police said he was hit by the truck.
Gomez-Flores later died from his injuries at a local hospital.
The truck driver and their passenger had minor injuries.
