Silas Creek Parkway lane closed in Winston-Salem

The southbound lanes will be closed again from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9 to finish additional road work and paving.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The southbound lanes of Silas Creek Parkway is closed for repairs today.

The lane is closed between Miller Street and Lockland Ave from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It was initially closed to repair a water main. Those repairs have been completed and one of the lanes will reopen at 4 p.m.

The southbound lanes will be closed again from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9 to finish additional road work and paving.

Winston-Salem/Forsyth Count Utilities (WSFC Utilities) also writes that if needed, the road closure would continue during the same time frame on additional work days.

Detours will be in place, but anyone going that way during their lunch break may want to take a different route.
