CHARLOTTE, N.C. — American Airlines announced Wednesday that it has added summer flights out of Charlotte to four popular destinations for lovers of the outdoors.
Starting June 5, travelers will be able to catch direct flights from Charlotte Douglas International Airport to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Bozeman, Montana, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Spokane, Washington. This is the first time American has offered nonstop flights from Charlotte to Spokane and Calgary, according to a press release from the airline.
"At American, we take great pride in building the world's best network and adding service to the places our customers want to go," Ralph Lopez Massas, American's senior vice president of Charlotte hub operations, said. "With new direct service from Charlotte, adventure seekers have easy access to explore new mountain destinations, and our team stands ready to serve more customers at Charlotte's hometown airline."
American Airlines will offer daily flights to Spokane and Jackson Hole from June 5 until Sept. 3. The airline will offer direct flights to and from Bozeman and Calgary on Saturdays starting June 8.
In addition to these new summer destinations, American announced plans to resume seasonal flights to Dublin and Tulum starting in March. The airline also has plans to offer nonstop flights from Charlotte to Vancouver in June, providing the only direct service between North Carolina and British Columbia.
